TRAVELER CONDUCT & SPECIAL NEEDS

Thank you for your interest in traveling with Allied Tour & Travel. Our desire is to serve all passengers, including those with special needs, so they will have an enjoyable travel experience. To help accomplish this, please read and return the following acknowledgement.

If someone has a special need of any kind, including a wheelchair or any other special mobile or medical devices, where it makes them unable to maneuver without assistance, we require that a traveling companion accompany this person to handle those special needs. We are happy to request wheelchair assistance/lifts for transportation vehicles, airline, rail and cruise assistance, and special rooms at hotels. However, Allied’s tour directors have responsibilities for the entire group and can only provide minimal assistance for those with special needs. This includes boarding of motor coaches, airplanes, cruise ships, railroads, etc. If more than minimal assistance is given by tour directors, it would impair the tours for all other travelers, thus fundamentally altering the nature of the service. In addition, other travelers on the tour cannot be expected to assist passengers with special needs.

Please request a form from your reservationist to confirm the special needs traveler, the companion providing assistance and acknowledging your agreement with this policy. Failure to provided needed assistance while on tour may result in being asked to leave the tour. Expenses to return home would be the responsibility of the passengers. No refunds will be issued for unused portions of the tour.
